Windshield Mounted Lights and an Inspection Sticker ...

OK -

2010 Rubicon licensed and insured in Massachusetts

Our Inspection Stickers are commonly on the right bottom corner of the windshield.

I am looking at the windshield light brackets from KC to mount (2) full size daylighters to the base of the A pillar.

Is it illegal in MA to have the light there if it blocks the view of the Inspection Sticker? just curious - the sticker would still be in view, just not right out there for the local gendarme to verify as I drove by.

And yes I know I'm asking to be pulled over, legal or not. I'm most curious in others within the State who may have these light brackets and their thoughts and experiences

Super old bump...

I am thinking about getting the windshield lights, too, and have wondered the same question about blocking the registration and inspection stickers. Has this caused a problem for anyone with getting pulled over by the po-po?

Honestly check your local laws i believe they have to be FULLY visible or call your local police department. Now if you'll get stopped is a crap shoot you may go 2 years and never get bothered but you may get stopped 5 times in a month

so long as the police can read the sticker, your fine, i had my lights on for 2 years now, no issues with getting the sticker or the police.

Check with the cops, to be sure. What one cop ignores, another may write a ticket for it.
