Placed my order on 2/4 for a BFG JKUR, got my first e-mail on 2/10 and as of today I was able to change the color to Winter Chill before production started. So now I'm waiting for a Winter Chill JKUR!

Placed our order on 2/8 for the wifes Unlimited Rubi in Winter Chill. Received an e-mail today saying production is scheduled. Don't know who is more excited. Her or me. Traded in the 08 Rubi.

Parts on order.
AEV 3.5 SC Lift, AEV Bumpers, AEV Pintler Wheels, Goodyear Dura-Tracs, Rock Rails and winch. Tires and rear bumper are already here.

Now the waiting game.

Yes, your dealer can place the order... may take a while for Jeep.com to update and have the new colors.

Congrats!

For sure post pictures!

We bought an Arctic Unlimited in Winter Chill. While it was not our first color choice, they gave us a heck of a deal on it, so we went with it. I have grown to adore this color over the last few days. I feel like I am always smiling!

Slatecaller... Nice, almost went for the remote start but went for the Manual. I have a 07 JKU auto now and really miss the manual; although I'm sure I'll curse the decision on many a Jan & Feb morning.

We got an awesome trade in on my Super Duty and the price on The Freezer before trade in was just under invoice. We had originally wanted a white one, but the nearest one was in Ohio. The other dealership did not want to trade but would sell it to our dealership at sticker. Ours got a WC in(redirected from another dealership), and we test drove it but still liked the white better. The next day, they offered the deal to us and we took it. This one came with more options(better radio/dual top/remote start/etc), was less expensive for us, and less hassle for all involved.

Now, I actually prefer the Winter Chill to the White.

Also, we qualified for several incentive programs(State Employee/Military/etc), but our dealership would not do incentives on either the Arctic or the COD. So, at this dealership and at that time, yes, we got a deal! Or at least it felt that way considering we would have paid sticker for the white one and gotten fewer options.

I'm glad I got my order in this week and now with WC being so limited it will make the color unique.

From what I have gathered, there are, at a minimum total (but max number produced in the Arctics), 720 WC JKU's and 525 WC JK's. This does not include what has been, is being, and will be produced before they close this color for ordering.....I am very curious if there is a way to find out exactly how many total will be built in this color!

Interesting factoid, the Grand Cherokee is orderable(upper trim packages anyway) in this color too, and I think that it just does not look right! Check it out on the Jeep website. I think this color looks best on a vehicle that has a bit of aggression to it's overall appearance.

Nice. Love the tires... and contrast to WC.

Interested to see how the black top & fenders will look.

It's the contrast (or anticipation of it) that sold me on WC. I just wish I was a little more patient. (So does my wife)

I ordered mine on the 17th also. Being that were both from PA they might come in on the same truck.

Went to the dealer today, he said I'm in D1. I think he was just trying to make me feel better (pretty sure I'm still in D status according to VOTS). I do have a VIN now. Anyway, he agreed to swap the Rubicon rims for the 5-spoke Mopar rims (no charge for mounting and balancing). I agreed to pay the difference in price and for new valve stems (stupid low pressure sensors). I really wanted the black rims. They have a smaller back spacing so it'll look better IMO, and I'll be set for other mods.

I saw this in another thread... you can see your status using the following URL... just put in your last name and VON. I'm still D.

https://www.jeep.com/vots/VOTSServlet?firstName=&lastName=LNAME&vin_last8=&orderno=VON&service=json&random=0.27533263434350164

It returns a long string of info with all your vehicle info. Build Status is up front. I think the person said it will populate build dates once they're known but I may have been drinking when I read it.... actually, I was drinking. Need to search and see what they said.

Just ordered this afternoon: Winter Chill 2Dr Rubicon, Manual, Black Leather, Hard Top, UConnect and Power Convenience. Can't wait for it to come in. I'll be painting the rims black. Only wish there was an Arctic Edition Rubicon, but this will be close enough.
