Wish you could have got a different color after your purchase?

Love my Red rock Crystal pearl...but after seeing all the great Jeep colors I might want to change to the black 2012 Rubicon with the TERRA?(saddle color leather) interior but my 2009 Jeep is paid for and I should just enjoy it.

I wonder if somebody would trade Jeeps even for a color change if the Jeeps were the same year, mileage close instead of going to the dealer where they always get more money from you.

Think about it.

Note a good paint job may be the easiest way to go but not sure what has to be done to repaint a JEEP to look like a different color.

I was in the same boat about the color after picking up my 2010 silver JK. I was always planning on getting it in that color and never regretted it until I started seeing more color options at the dealer after I purchased mine. The truth is that every color looks great on a Jeep and once you pick one you will always like the looks of another. Its just the way it goes. I'm really glad that I kept mine. It was the original one that I choose and it's pretty special on other levels too!

Same here. Black was my first choice, Rescue Green was my second. Every vehicle i've owned, including my previous jeep was black. Still wish I would have gotten the rescue green though.

I think that's just the way it goes.

I have had three black Wranglers and I am very pleased that I decided to change to red on my 2011. Here in Texas, it gets real hot in the summer time and my black Jeeps were brutal if they set in the sun all day. I am looking forward to seeing if the red is a bit cooler (probably not). Also, although I think black makes a beautiful Wrangler package, I have already noticed in only a month that the red is much easier to keep clean. It simply does not show dust and dirt as bad as all my black Jeeps did.

I have a 2010 Red Rock and I love it, the only thing I don't like is I did not see any that color when I bought mine, now I see them all over.

Being in Michigan and near Ann Arbor (UMich), driving anything crimson red-ish in color will get you some nasty stares (OSU).

I've had 2: A 02 in silver and an 04 in black.

While preparing to order a 2012 Rubi over the summer, I've changed my mind 3 times between white, orange, black, and silver.

The color I really want (and hope that they bring back) is the charcoal grey that ran in 2010.

I love my color. I've only seen one other (JKU) on the road since I got mine. Definitely stands out in the parking lot.

I like the rescue green because of the fact Jeep and Green has always gone together. But I have to say I really like the Dark Charcoal Pearl. Not sure why it wasn't popular enough to continue but I like the way it changes color in different light. Dim light or bad weather it looks as black as a black model. Mid day light it looks dark grey and evening light it looks from a distance as dark green. I would choose it again but it looks like that won't happen, lol

If it's still on your list, then it must mean something.

My JKU is the first vehicle that I've ever been able to choose the color, we ordered it in. Love my natural pearl green more every day. It would have been a toss up if they still offered the charcoal, I really liked that as well. Color is the last Thing I generally worry about. My vehicles need to meet my needs, most vehicles on the market these days do not meet my specific needs. I was thrilled the wrangle did, so picking my color wad a bonus. Love my little green machine!

Not really. I found the jeep with the best options I liked, I didn't mind the color, so I bought it. Flame Red btw.

Function comes before looks for me. I put very plain black wheels on (Pro Comp 7069). I am not going to spend money to make my rig look cool. Would rather spend that money on suspension, armor, Pro Rocks, etc. The coolness of the rig comes from how it performs offroad, and whatever color, it looks good because they really do perform

Wanted black so bad I could taste it when we were shopping... Love black vehicles Found a great deal on my Sienna pearl... Bought it not really feeling the color, but..... Now I love it, there aren't a ton of them around, and mine is the best looking one in town by far....

The JK is flame red, not our first choice either, wanted black again... But, hubby drove a yellow X or Sport I don't remember, all day and was set to buy it, even tho' he didn't feel like he was really a "yellow, kind of guy".... Then we saw the Red Rubi, and that was that.... The man had to have the Rubicon... The red shows trail stripes like crazy, and I gave up long ago trying to buff them out.... It was an exercise in futility... Black would have been worse.
My favorite Wrangler look, after owning them for a while now, is White with black accents.... But they're all great (except, for me silver...) I have a huge thing against pavement colored vehicles.... But thankfully for the paint manufacturers, lots of other people love them...

i told my dealer "any color but yellow or bright red", so no.
deepwater blue, surf blue, mango tango and rescue green were my preferences. i almost bought a white one identical in options to the one i bought.

I woulda had regrets because I almost settled for my second color choice because I was getting a little impatient. I knew exactly what I wanted trim-wise so it was hard to find, but I couldn't order. I'm glad I stayed patient because I finally found exactly what I was looking for only about 2 hours away.

Although I love my midnight blue, I probably would have gone with yellow or white. This blue shows every pinstripe, bug splat, and water spot. I like it muddy, but when he's clean, I want him to look clean.

I got my 04 in electric lime green (used). Wasn't my first choice but I have grown to love it. You vary rarely see one so you get to stand out. I call my skittles.

if there was a 2011 Rescue Green IO would have gotten that, but otherwise I wanted certain interior things, I thought I wanted the tan till I saw it, then I fell in love with the Flame Red especially when I imagined it with my custom wheels and tires! The matching shocks were a plus!! LOL!
