Would you take ur jeep to Burning Man ??

I was lucky enough to get tickets to Burning Man but not sure what to drive. Guess "IT" will wash off.

It would be the perfect vehicle......add a rear hitch carrier or a tag-a-long trailer for liquids, food, and "other" necessary items!

Always wanted to go there........my wife thinks its not a good idea for a 65 year old.........no imagination this woman............

Take the jeep, and yes it will wash off. If you go tooling around on the playa, that crap will get into every nook and cranny, but with time, it will go away too.
I've spent a lot of time cleaning up after a trip to Gerlach. Change Your Air Filter when you get home!

Yeah, condoms. So you don't end up at the doctor saying "it's burning man!"

My Uncle has been going for close to 20 years now. Started with tent camping and now does it in his Airstream. He turns 70 this month, says the AC is nice there in August. Lots of stuff to do there in a Jeep.

Hard to tell the hippies from the zombies.

I'd rather go to a nice family-friendly overlanding event, Jeep Safari, or tour a few National Parks.

Mob culture can be a bit tedious...

Planning on it. This will be my first burn. Still need to figure out the camp thing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Whats a "Burning Man"? and why is it exclusive to JK(U)'s?

It's Awesome! Google it. I think this thread was just started in the JK section. Nothing exclusive about Burning Man.

I'd be more concerned about the tree huggers offering my Jeep as a sacrifice to the dead dinosaurs in my gas tank.

It's a Birkenstock/Prius crowd and you'll be driving a "non-art" fossil fuel burning, greenhouse gas spewing, earth destroyer. Good luck...

100$ deductible and a good video camera. Would make an epic story. They can only burn in designated areas. Ha!

Just expect to spend some quality time with your Jeep cleaning out all the playa dust from the inside when you get back home

Good times for sure.

I am afraid of all that happening when my company moves
back to Cambridge, MA this Fall and I drive and park at work
there. Bad enough it was 25 lights to go 5 friggin miles from
the highway to the office :
There is even talk of them moving into Boston ....
No .........
Rob ....
