wrangler 2012 MBRP Help

Will the MBRP front grille / light bar fit on my Wrangler 2012? isn't it the same bumper as the previous years?

Check this out Amazon.com: MBRP 130716 Black Coated Front Light Bar/Grill Guard System: Automotive

Would that fit my 2012?

Mounts to your stock bumper with pre existing holes I believe.

Mango jeep, random pic

Silver jeep is Gluestick
Local to me, you can look him up. He just installed it and posted a thread

As far as I know there is no difference as far as the stock bumper.
Very easy to install

okay well whats the difference between these two? Amazon.com: MBRP 131086 Black Coated Front Light Bar/Grill Guard System: Automotive and

and Amazon.com: MBRP 130716 Black Coated Front Light Bar/Grill Guard System: Automotive

I see in the picture there are a few more pieces with the 2nd link?

I'm upset because i ordered THIS ONE Amazon.com: MBRP 131128 Bumper Light Bar/Grill Guard: Automotive in the description it says fits ALL JK bumpers. But when i got it. that THE version requires off camber bumper/

So which one should I re-order?

Gosh, these pictures really accenuate how ugly the stock bumper is, huge lengthwise. Definitely needs stubby kit.

He just pm'd me

Probably not. If I decide on lighting it will be an upgrade on what I have and/or the windshield mounted lights.

For the 2012's do you need the vacuum pump relocation bracket to install the MBRP light bar?

Yes, you will need to move the vacuum pump. There is no way around this, and yes it is a PITA.

Is it worth it when installed, yes it is. I also swapped out to Phillips +80% bulbs. They are better than stock, but are just "OK" in the big scheme of things. Still waffling on the bumper. Have to do something, but am not sure what (just yet). The PIAA 520ATP's - no regrets there.

Thanks. Well, guess I need to order the relocation kit. I already have the light bar so no turning back now.

I was told by mechanic this bar wouldn't fit despite having 4wheelparts guys verify and seeing it on this thread...the mechanic said something about having to cut into frame for where bracket is to be put. Do you have recommendation/instructions on how to move the pump? I'm not mechanically skilled...yet. thanks!

I'm being old I need to disconnect the battery to avoid any possible future issues with the vacuum pump when I move it. Anyone else hear anything about this, it makes no sense.

It fits. I used the OR-FAB pump relocate kit. The kit did not contain the correct instructions or hardware for my 2012 but I made it work. The light bar came with mounting screws that didn't even fit so I had to stop and go to the Bolt House to find some that worked. It took longer than it should have due to incorrect parts and instructions, the bar had chipped paint but, overall I am happy. No lights yet. Not sure what I want to do with the air dam.
