So recently I bought a 2016 Wrangler Backcountry.
Going to be getting ready to build her, and I really don't like the stock graphics, actually I hate them.
Im super nervous this Jeep is my baby. Will a simple hair dryer heat up these graphics enough to remove them with my finger nails?

Plan to spend some time on this. About twice what you expect.

Heat them up a bit and they will peel off pretty easily. The adhesive MIGHT be a more involved process, depending on how much residue it leaves.

Get some Goof Off - it helps a TON on the adhesive residue.

When I took off the wrangler stickers on the sides, they took about an hour each to get all the adhesive residue off. Just be patient.

Don't forget a good waxing after you finish. The Goof Off strips everything off.

Pics before and after!

Those decals have been on there for about a year already, so yeah....it'll take some effort. I don't know where you live, but I'd wait until the warmer sunny days are here. The sun beating down on them should make them just peel up. The worst is when the decals are several years old and brittle. You should have that problem though. Good Luck.

We only removed the section of the graphic on the hood. The wife wanted to put a decal on the two sides of the hood with the name of the Jeep (Barney).
I did not have an issue with the graphics for the Back Country, but I can see how some might.
I am not surprised that the decal is that much money, it is a serious quality decal. That is some heavy duty vinyl.
