I have a 2014 Wrangler Sport soft top, and it drives me crazy that on the sides of the back window it's a little wrinkly or wavy looking - not from being folded or rolled up (every time the top has ever been off, I've removed the window completely) but almost like the window is not pulled taut or like I need to shift the top forward somehow to pull it tighter? I've been looking at jeeps around town and their back windows are always real tight/taut and flat all the way around. Am I missing something? Do I need to adjust the top somehow? Or is this just how it is?
Is it attached to the tailgate bar correctly? Are the lower corners of the window tucked under the flange? Can you attach a photo to show what you mean?

Photos would help to tell whether it's normal or not.
While cold whether will expand the vinyl and make it a little wavy, I don't think it should appear "wrinkly".

Our Trec top NX windows which are the thicker premium ones always have dents, wrinkles and bumps on them when we store them for a day or two off roading, after they are back in place for several hours and the sun warms them up good the wrinkles and bumps vanish and they are their happy flat selves. That's been our experience anyway.

I live in GA so we've already had some pretty warm days, and it doesn't seem to flatten out in the heat. I'll try shifting it a bit and see what happens.
Not sure if I am using the right terminology, but some of the plastic windows are rolled vs pressed. The thinner, less expensive ones are rolled plastic which will give a distorted view as opposed to the thicker plastic windows which are pressed and give a clear view. If your windows are not installed evenly though, I'd imagine either of them will be wrinkly.
I just purchased a Trek Top NX for my two door JK. The windows were all nice and flat when I put them on and after zipping in the rear window, I have wrinkles in each of the top and bottom corners. It's been in the 80's here in Alabama and after three days, still wrinkled. Any suggestions?
Also, the crappy little hooks and straps that attach the top to the sound bar...any suggestions on what to do to get them tight? They're too long and don't tighten up. One bump and they're dangling down.
Mine looks like CAT86 window too.....on the driver's side as well almost in the exact same spot. I bought the Best Top tinted window replacement kit just shy of a year ago (I originally had clear windows and didn't like them), and I don't remember it looking like this last summer. Just noticed it about 2 days ago, so I am not sure what the problem might be from last year to this year. I have never had the top down or the rear window out since installing it last May.
After posting this a year ago and taking the top on and off a bunch of times, I've just decided it's always going to be wrinkly.
