Haha I was just having this debate with myself earlier. It all boils down to Performance VS. Looks to be honest. It's not a bad thing if you prefer looks but be honest with yourself before you decide which one you'd rather have. I personally would go with the Flares because it is just such an amazing difference on the look of your car (from the stock fender flares that is). At the same time Xenon lights are pretty BA and it's always fun to blind the guy that just cut you off

I think he meant Xenon flat flares....

We have the Bushwackers, and they have held up to a ton of abuse surprisingly well. Installation was a bit of a challenge, but I can't say anything else bad about them HTH.

My Bushwackers have taken a beating and are still holding up pretty well. Don't know anything about the Xenons

I am leaning towards Bushwackers myself but if you like Xenons, then maybe you would like Metalcloak also. I like that you can split the fender for better trail clearance. Only thing I don't like is the price.

Metalcloak Jeep Wrangler JK Tube Fenders, Bumpers and Body Armor

Yea they are, About $798 for front and $269 for rear. Off topic though is they just came out with new bumpstops that look very creative. They come in 1" pucks so you can change your bumpstop by just adding or subtracting a puck. And not a bad price at $59 for a starter set.
