Hello all, first off I have 2015 Willys. I bought the XRC full Width Bumper and Q9500i Winch combo from Quadratec. I followed the install instructions that were given by the Quadratec rep on another thread. The bumper was a pain in the a$$. The instructions from Smittybilt were horrible. However after a couple of painful hours the install was complete. Final product looks great. For the price from Quadratec I couldn't see going any other way, atleast for me. One of the pics will show the Power cable going through the grill, however after looking it over a bit I rerouted it underneath and it looks much better. I must say if it hadn't been for the reps advise I don't know how this thing would have worked. :iamhappy:

Mainly the instructions. Lots of bolts not labeled. They are used for the different M.O.D parts. So it was kinda trial and error. Lots of going back and forth loosening this up just right for another bolt to line up. It was like a difficult puzzle. The end out come was great. I really like it now that its on. There is a considerable amount of front end sag but that can be dealt with later.

The end pieces are difficult. Remember to ream out the 2 outer holes on the frame. trying to get bolts lined up is a pain. Leave everything loose. You definitely need 2 people. Once you get the bolts started put the triangular piece on the front. It will bring the end together with the main part of the bumper then do the other side then tighten the bumper to the frame. Put the winch on after you put the center part of the bumper on but before the end pieces. Hope this helps and wasn't too confusing. Good luck.

No lift yet. But it will need one. There is quite a bit of front end sag. It's noticeable.

I put this same bumper, same end caps, on in August. Severe pita. Instructions r completely backwards. I too got a qtec winch.

Instructions say in bold...if mounting a winch, put winch on bumper before install on vehicle...that's wrong, it wont go on the jeep that way. So I had to take the winch off. Attaching the winch is no picnic. The front bolts not too bad, rear ones can be turned a couple degrees at a time.

Says to attach end caps before putting it on...that's wrong, wont go on the Jeep that way either.

About two weeks ago the steel bracket holding an auxiliary light broke, luckily the light didnt.

One of the bull bar bolts wouldn't go in because of a weld bead being in the threads.

Like the look though.

you weren't kidding about bs instructions. Your tips helped a lot. I did have to do a little grinding and banging to get the passenger side extension to line up right. the back bolts on the winch sucked to get tight. All in all i love the look.

Now to figure out what i want to do about the sag. my stock springs are 14/56
Thinking about the Rancho 2" sport lift or the Teraflex performance leveling kit to get it back up.

Still need to wire up the Fog lights, gonna try to find and extension for the factory harness so i don't have to cut those ends off.

Thanks for the help and let me know what your thinking about for the sag.:drinks:

Automotive Connectors and iJDMTOY (2) 5202 H16 Extension Wire Harness Sockets For Headlights from amazon. That extension from quadratec would work wish I would have seen it. You will still need the male ends from the Automotive Connectors site I linked to for the new fog likes that came in the bumper kit.
This is what I found and ordered. Everything should be here next week.

I got maybe two problems w that. 1.I got an 09', 2.the new fogs are 55w, the old r 45w which is the main reason for me to set upthe relay...its more draw. Otherwise i would have just cut and splice the jeep harness.

'13 JKU. same bumper, warn M8000. Same problems with the install. lost a inch off of my TF performance leveling kit. Love the look, now that the install is only a memory.
I had problems keeping moisture out of the new fog housings. I ended up disassembling the lights, adding silicone gasket material to the leads and shrink tubing the pigtails so as to make it water-tight. I couldn't believe they still sell lights with cotton insulation! What crap!
