Zone 3" Suspension Lift purchase from Rockridge 4wd

I just got off the phone with Jeff over at Rockridge 4wd and I thought I would share my thoughts. I was shopping around for a new suspension lift for my new 2012 JKU and have been browsing the forums like a madman. I noticed Rockridge 4wd coming up alot in all the searches, so I thought I would ask them for a quote for the Zone 3" lift that I had pretty much decided on. I received my quote back within 30 minutes and I was very happy with it. It was a very good deal with free shipping. I asked that I could get a call back to give my credit card information and Jeff called me back within the hour. Jeff was wondeful and gave me all kinds of tips on things I could do with my Jeep. It was like talking to an old buddy, even though we just met. He is very knowledgable and has a genuine love for his business. I hope that if anyone has any purchases that need to make in the future that you will give him the opportunity to work with you.

Thanks Jeff, for the knowledge transfer and the great deal you gave me on my purchase..

welcome to the forum and great choice for a lift. if i'm not mistaken, zone is the parent company for BDS, so you're really getting a good product!

post pictures!

I'm happy with that set up, the only problem I had was I needed to go back a grease the heck out of the front adj track bar to keep it from making noise

Did you put on the exhaust extenders? If so did you notice alot more clearance on your stock DS... This has got me a little worried on the new 2012 models.

Does the kit come with an exhaust extension? If not, you can buy the TeraFlex version for ~ $50. Easy install.

You should put one on, if you've got it. I don't know much about the Zone lifts, but if it comes with new shocks you'll need to do something to get more clearance between the stock ds and the exhaust crossover, or they'll hit the first time you offroad, or disco your swaybars.

Was around 200 cheaper with than the TF with shocks... It also came with the exhaust extensions... I am still abit worried about the clearance even with the extensions from some of the threads I have been reading. Hopefully after I get it installed those worries will be laid to rest.

From what I have read, the springs are the same one get with the more expensive BDS lifts, but they needed an entry point to compete with the cheaper lift kits out there, like Rough Country.
