03-06 wrangler concealed carry box

Does anyone have the tuffy underseat storage box. It goes under the driver seat and supposed to still allow seat to slide and flip. I was thinking of getting it to lock up stuff since the glovebox and center console is too easy to break into. Any feedback or suggestions would be great.

The Tuffy one typically gets good feedback, so you're on the right track. The Bestop one is the one that people have problems with. I don't have that particular Tuffy product but my glovebox and overhead console have been great.

I have it on both my 2004 TJ and my wife's JK. Easy to install and you can't even see it once it's installed unless your looking for it. The seat bolts are pretty tight but with a breaker bar or a longer piece of pipe on your ratchet they break loose easy enough. My driveway is on an incline so I took the door off to keep it from banging into me while I was installling them. I owned a few Tuffy products over the years, always a great product for the buck.

Thanks. It looked like the lockbox for the 03-06 with flip seats stuck out from under the seat causing it to be more visible, maybe it has to stick out to allow the seat to function.

I have it and it does look like that if you slide your seat all the way back. I am not 6ft so it is barely visible. It is an awesome item and say definitely get it. I have pics in my Jeep Profile. My driver seat is not flip up so mine is bigger than the flip version. I can put a mess of stuff in it.

I was looking into getting one of these too, however I need to relocate my amp, which powers my soundbar and dash speakers first. The storage unit looks great for storing items though and the price is decent

I've got the Bestop box, and I haven't had any real problems with it. My only complaint is that when opening it from the drivers seat, it can be difficult because the key has to be turned all the way otherwise it won't open. Other than that, it doesn't hinder seat movement and it's invisible unless you're looking for it.
