03 tj rubi locker Q.

Hey all. I wanted to know more abt the 03 tj rubi locker system. Is it a AIR or ELECTRIC. I have a chance to buy a used one for real cheap but the only problem "they say" is the front lockers doesn't work. So I wanna kno before I get this jeep or what it's gonns cost to fix. Thnx in advance.

Pre 2007 Rubis come with air lockers from the factory.

Pick it up and throw an arb or detroit up there. Better than the stock rubi lockers

I have a 03 Rubicon and when u say it does not work if the light on dash does not engage it does not mean the locker is not working the light is wired separately and when I bought mine wires were broken off locker still ingaged but light on dash did not work

And if the light just blinks and will not come on solid, it means there is not enough or no air getting to the locker. Which means that either the pump isn't working or there is a leak in the line.

I noticed my indicator light flashes when both front and rear factory lockers are engaged but haven't had a problem with the lockers yet. I didn't even know there might be a problem until I read this... awesome! lol
