04 Rubicon regear

OK guys I just bought a 2004 rubicon bone stock. It has the auto tranny and 4.0 in it. Right now it is on 31's and feels a little sluggish. I am looking to go to 33's possibly 35's. What gears would you reccomend. Also how low of a gear can you go with the stock rubi locker/carrier. Thanks in advance

I'm running 33's on my Rubicon with an auto and it is in no way sluggish. The thing isn't and wasn't intended to be a fire breathing V8 powered sports car.

So 33's dont kill it power wise? I pull a small fishing boat occasionally. How did they affect your gas mileage. I wheel it every chance I get but it is also my dd. I drive about 65 mi a day but its all at around 55-60mph.

Jeeps are just slow. With 4.10s and 31s that is a pretty good setup. What are the rpms on the freeway? I have the 6 speed and plan on running 35s without regearing. (we'll see if its sucks too bad) Right now i'm ~3000rpms at 65mph.

31"s to 35"s is a big jump. you you have enough lift?
4;10's with 33"s is good. That's what I run.

I have 4.0, auto,3.73, and 33's. 65 mph=1800 rpms. Not quite in the power band, probably regear after installation of 35's.
