Im looking at a really clean 05 rubicon on a car lot. It has no carpet and the dealer says thats how they all came. Is this true? And yes it is a real rubicon. I checked the vin.

Dealer doesn't know crap about jeeps. Most people have already taken the carpeting out by the end of the first year.

Not true, most people don't remove their carpet. Rubis do come with carpeting.

If you decide to make a deal with them and part of it is to have carpet installed.......make sure that you specify factory carpet (Mopar) the aftermarket kits just don't fit as well!

Good luck!

Take it for a test drive and have the salesman keep his barefeet planted on the floorboard to see if he thinks Jeeps came w/o carpet. Not to mention the warning sticker on the tub. I would use the no carpet as a negotiating leverage tool to get it Line-x'd or monstalined.
