1" Body Lift

I've been holding onto this M.O.R.E 1" body lift for three years now. It is new in the box and came with the Jeep. I have a 3" suspension lift and will finally be installing this body lift tomorrow. Good idea or not?

That's completely up to you, I don't like em at all so I'd have to say just sell it.

Most people agree that a 1" body lift is perfectly acceptable to gain a little more tire clearance...when used in conjunction with a 1" motor mount lift, it also helps eliminate drivetrain vibrations and can be used as an alternative to dropping the transfer case. Body lifts over 1.25" are generally frowned upon however.

Hey budd just wanted to chime in. I have this exact same setup on my 2000 tj. I have a 3 inch suspension, and 1 inch body lift. Honestly you'll be fine without a motor mount lift, yes it is recommended, but so is eating your veggies every day. I personally don't have the motor mount lift and I've been fine with drivetrain. Below is a some pictures if the BEAST. hope this helps. And obviously I recommend installing it!

Thank you all for the excellent advice and the pics. Think I'll go ahead with installing it, at least until I get back to the mainland. If I do have any issues with vibes I'll know what to do to help correct them. Thanks again guys, you are all awesome…Jeep on.

Nice rig, thanks for the photos. It helps a lot to be able to see what your own rig will look like with the same setup. Will post pics of the 1" install later this evening. Jeep on.
