1" MML- what else needs attention?

I have a 2" BB now and had vibes develop after the install. Cured it with 1" T-case drop. I hate the drop and would love to get that 1" back at the t-case by adding the MML.

Will my fan clear the shroud? Any anything else you can thin of. The drop was all I had to do. Nothing else nodded.

The fan shroud will have to be modified in order to clear the fan. You can put in a 1 inch body lift that will move the fan shroud accordingly as well as lift the Jeep up another inch. You are correct though, it is dumb raising the Jeep up a couple of inches just to lower the transfer case back down. Your MML will enable you to put the transfer case back where it should be.

I did the MML and 1.25" Bl at the same time. It was easy and went fast. Good results and you will be set for doing a tummy tuck in the future plus be able to clear some bigger tires if you choose..

Thanks.... I guess I new the shroud would need a mod.... and yes... sets me up for the Tummy tuck once I do the BL.

Not sure if I want the BL now though... might wait a bit.... 4.5" RE lift in the future is planned...along with everything else... tires, wheels, SYE,CV, gears and ARB's... blah blah blah.... my plate says it all...

When I installed my 1" MML, I had to adjust the fan shroud, its very easy. I have a Brown Dog MML, very solid product.

Thanks again... I was looking to see if the fan shroud was 'slotted'.... doesn't appear to be.... how did you 'adjust' it?

You undo the 2 or 4 screws holding the plastic shroud to the radiator and either higher it or lower it.

how long until you are going to do the sye/cv driveshaft work? seems pointless to spend ~$100 on a MML when you are planning on an sye. (unless u are going to be doing that later down the road)

Yeah... its a little further down the road... closer to tax time. the MML is like $50 from RC.... I mean I can make my own... just being lazy with this project.

I think I will just get the MML from RC and make my 1" BL pucks... I have the material for that.. just got to figure out the bolts as I have heard there are a couple different sizes.

This way... the BL is done, MML is done.... get the tummy tuck done... add the 4.5" RE, SYE and CV....

Sounds easy enough... but I don't see 'slots' on the shroud to slide it... maybe a 90 degree drill and move it... hmmm

BTW.... kinda want/need this quick for one good reason.... heading to Rubicon Trails on 9-11 Sept. I feel I NEED the 1" more clearance at my belly pan... maybe just peace of mind... but its not a wasted project by any means.
