10 MPG on my Modified 4 Banger?

Man I have cold air intake, 4.0TB, TBS, Catback, Magnaflow muffler, accel coils, and wires, NGK plugs, 31in BFG, with 4.10 gears on my 2.5L manual tranny. I just calculated my MPG for the first time ever and never realized I only get 10 MPG. Is this about right or normal ? Does anyone now what is average for this set up.

Just a guess, but could your odometer be off cause of the 31" wheels? Mileage seems pretty low from what I've read... Odometer could lead to faulty findings...

I get 10.5 in my tj... Straight6 though with 3.73 gears and 33 tires... I'm still trying to figure out why I only get 10 also...

Yep, have you ever recalibrated your speedometer? If not, you're driving further and faster than your odometer and speedometer is indicating.

That's close to my set up and i get 16 mpg. Do you have a brass or aluminum terminal distributed cap. The brass one is much better. d.u.I. Makes them. And I cleaned my fuel injectors and reset the computer.

I have a 4 popper too but with 33s (stock 4:10) that seems about right for me. No mods besides flowmaster muffler.

I get 15mpg in my 03. 4.0, 37" Pro Comps. 4.88 gears, hi flow intake, Unichip, and hi flow exhaust. I lost about 1MPG when I put my lift and tires on.

I think it takes more then just re calibrating your speedo. I went from stock tires (225-75) to 235-75 in my 99SE. The speedometer is only 2 mph off at 60 mph when I checked it with a GPS. It is accurate until I hit 60 mph. However I drove 50 miles (GPS) and my odometer shows I drove 41 miles. So over the range of a full tank of gas my odometer would be off a lot decreasing my gas mileage calculation. So even if your speedometer is close you still need to check your odometer.
