$100 to quadratec

Got a gift certificate for $100 for christmas and cant decide on what to use it on. Got it narrowed down to things I need though. Help me decide.
-Odyssey battery (my stock battery sucks and winching is really taxing it. I need a deep cycle battery but I dont wanna spend much more than $50 on top of the certificate plus they look good. I've run a Optima and I liked it but Im not gonna buy another one)

-IPF fatboy bulbs and housings (stock headlights suck even worse than the battery and I do a lot of night time wheeling)

-Some kind of summer top since all I have is a hard top

Suggestions on what you guys think is the best way to go. Id be happy with any of these, just need a push towards one or the other.

You know you liked cleaning the inch of Harland dust out every nock and cranny of your Jeep, what do you need a top for I had a bikini top and never used it.I sold it to a guy down the street and don't miss it at all so I would say go for the lights.Hey besides you all probably got a lot of snow up that way and just wishfull thinking for the summer top

Yea, thanks slf...its a lot of snow. But it does get warm here for a while. I think I will just go without a top for the summer since I usually do anyway. I just wanted something that could go up quick if I got caught in the rain. O well. Maybe later. I think the lights might be it. I know autozone has a decent battery for $90 w/ exchange so I will probably do that later.

Personally, of the items you mentioned, I'd go for the Odyssey (PC1500) battery. It's a superb battery and you can't go wrong with it. When my Optima Blue Top finally gives up the ghost, I'll go for it or the Sears Diehard Platinum which is the Odyssey battery with the Diehard name on it.

I'll probably just go to sears and get it from there then. My stock headlights really are terrible. With the amount of time I wheel at night I should proably see a little better.

Lets say I get the fatboy bulbs (cause I think Im going to tonight), is it required that I upgrade the wiring loom on the headlights? I read an article in JP magazine where they tested these bulbs and didnt upgrade the wiring and they said they did very well. Although the stock wiring was probably "screaming in agony". I dont wanna burn anything up but I dont want to replace the wiring unless I absolutley HAVE TO. Especially since its freezing outside right now and that would be a sucky job to do in this weather. Then I also assume I am gonna need some new housings. What do you guys think I should get?

I've been running them without the "added" harness for about 3yrs. If I remember right so did Mr.C for several years. And many others that run without the added harness.

It hasn't apposed any issue, but with the upgraded harness the lights will preform slightly better.

I get flashed all the time due to how bright they are on dim. And I have them aimed a little low. If you do decide on them make sure you aim them. Off the top of my head the low beams are 165w with the fatboys. And also I know alot of ppl run them but the "fatboy" bulbs are for "offroad use". the standard IPF lights are fully legal and are still very bright. Just food for thought if your worried about it.

Fatboy bulbs don't really draw any more current than the OE bulbs do so no aftermarket headlight wiring harness is necessary. Fatboys only draw something like 55 or 65 watts which is pretty close to what the OE sealed beam lights do.

LIGHTS! no harness needed, and the difference in brightness is immediately noticeable.

According to their website the fatboys are 65watters. compared to the stockers thats 20 watts extra combined.. thats under an amp and a half increase draw for both lights combined.

IPF's E-code housings. Quadratec sells them too. If you need a link to them let me know.
