When I start my jeep it takes several seconds of the starter turning the motor before it starts running . Have had combustion chamber cleaned . 1 yr. old cheep battery . Runs good after it starts ? any ideas
More than likely the fuel check valve in the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator is leaking allowing the fuel, that is supposed to stay in the fuel injector fuel rail for fast starts, is instead being allowed to drain back down into the gas tank.

mine sometimes is testy on start so i turn the power on 1st and let it sit for 20seconds in the on position (usually until the no seatbelt thing finishs dinging). Then i turn it on w/o and lights or electronics on and she starts up pretty easy.
