1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport Heat Problem?

I have a 98 Sport, and my heat will not blow hot. I flushed and checked the heater core, changed the water pump, and put a new thermostat. My engine is only heating up to about 160 degrees and it should be getting warmer then that to blow hot heat. Any help or recommendations would be very appreciated.

There really isn't any other part it could be other than the heater core. I've heard of people pouring CLR into the heater core, letting it soak for a few hours and then flushing it again. That would disolve lots of buildup and let the heat flow again.

ok, 97-98 uses cable blend door, so I want you to make sure the cable is connect to the blend door and operating it correctly. the door is under the passenger dash close to the center dash. slide the slider back and forth to make sure its opening and closing.

second, feel the heater core pipes if they both are hot.

you said your engine wont go warmer than 160F? thats not good you sure the thermostat is correct?
97 SE still running strong.
