1998 TJ Clutch Issues

Put new Motor, clutch last summer, new Master and Slave Cylinder a week ago. Does not go into reverse very easy, chatter when taking off and fades fast under stress. Any ideas on a fix?

Just my 2 cents: I'd put new fluid in the tranny to see if that helps at all,
The noise makes me think it's the tranny.
I believe you have the ax-15 transmission, Should be pretty easy
to do
