Question 1st time jeep owner with a question

Hi

My wife and I just bought a 97 Wrangler, 58k on it and love it. confident I will always own a jeep from now on. My question is regarding the soft top. I have been told that one person should be able be put the soft top back up and you should be good to go. However it seem to take much more then that to get it latched, nothing seem to be bent.

Is there a trick to this or are there any after-market latches or parts that can make this easier. Thanks for your time and roll on.

What is your process to put the top back up? If you "start" the latches on the front, assemble the rest of the top, and then actually pull them down, it shouldn't be that bad. Do you have an owner's manual for the vehicle? If so, it has good directions for reinstalling the top. Without more information, I really don't know exactly why you are having trouble. If you have a picture (we like those a lot around here) of what is giving you trouble it may be easier for us as well. Enjoy the new Jeep!

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

Yeah if it is anything like mine make sure hook the two latches in the front then assemble the rest of the top. Then just snap em down.
