2.4 or 2.5?

I recently purchased a 1999 Jeep Wrangler. The person I bought it from said the motor was replaced with a 2003 motor. I'm trying to replace the spark plugs but am uncertain of which plugs to buy since I'm not 100% sure what motor is in the Jeep. It is a 4 cylinder with a distributor. Is there a way to tell if its the 2.4 or the 2.5? Any help is appreciated so I can get the right plugs.

If you have another ride pull one of the plugs out and take it with you to the parts store and match it up. That way you know you get the right kind for now then you can buy a little time to find out for sure what you have. Maybe post a picture of the engine?

The 2.4 will have a coil pack on the passenger side of the valve cover and the plugs are in the center of the valve cover as it is a DOHC.
