2.4 towing capacity?

decided I want to get a pop-up trailer (I'm getting too old for this ground stuff) but I only have a 2.4. Between the manual and all the professionals I've talked to, I keep getting different numbers.

I think it is 2000lbs regardless of engine or transmission options. But I could be wrong

Not sure of the towing capacity but if We can ever swing it this is what We are going for.

The weight on this is minimal but the cost is high.

They are made by a Tentrax. Been eyeballing them for a while just waiting for the budget to shift that direction.

Yeah, those trailers are definatley awesome, but I built mine online and came out to $12,500 and I don't think that I could justify paying that much for a tent on wheels not to mention I am 6'2, 230, not sure how well i would fit, lol.
