2.5 knock

Title says it all..pretty sure its the piston skirt on number 4..the jeep is not my dd just a cruise around town on a nice day and my trail rig..i understand this could go today, tomorrow, next week and so on but how long has anyone drove on a motor like this..i planned on rebuilding it anyways just wanted to get through summer and make it a winter project. Any input is appricated!

Same happened to me. Busted poison skirt and I drove it for 3 weeks before it gave out.

If you do plan on driving it like that it will scar up the inside of the piston wall and you will have to bore it out to smooth the walls out and if it scars it up too bad you might not have enough piston wall left to bore it out and it could cause some trouble.
