2.5" lift

I am starting to price for 2.5" lifts and I was wondering with me having 31" tires at full flex will the 2.5" lift clear the stock fenders, or will there still be rubbing? Right now I have not disconnected the sway-bar links because I know at the moment it would rip them off.

I believe they would be stock bumpstops because the kit is just the springs with the shocks. Since they are stock would I need to get new bumpstops and would that limit the amount of flex?

I installed the RC 2.5 lift and I was running 33s with just a little rubbing of the fender flair not too bad though. I didn't add anything else other then a 1' mml

The RC 2.5 is the kit I will prob end up buying. Do you like it? Since you run 33s I should be fine with 31s right?

31's are the tire size on stock suspension TJ Rubicons. You should be fine.

yes, you may need bumpstop extensions...not new bumpstops. its going to depend on the shock length, and any other suspension interferences you may experience.

and it's not about "limiting the amount of flex", it's about keeping suspension interferences from occurring.

for example, if the shocks are bottoming out or the tires are destroying the steel fenders...then that really isn't functional is it?

I have the RE 2.5 bb lift with 33's and it rubs if im flexing to hard but not bad could be fixed with a little trimming of the stock flares. Ive had the lift on for 3 years and it is holding up ok u will need to purchase correct sway bar disconnects cause it will break the stock ones.. And my stock springs are sagging in the rear now so as long as ur not gonna wheel it much u should be happy with it.

I love it. It has the progressive rate spring that helps on and offroad. You will be way fine with 31s. I would recommend a track bar relocation bracket for the rear and quick disconnects for the front.

What will the rear track bar relocation bracket do? I was planning on getting the Q-disconnects for the front. And thank you for the info.
