2'' bb lift and 32x 11.50

Well so others may know.. I got a 2'' bb lift and tires.. I was not sure if there were any rubbing issues or not..

I went with 32x 11.5 the rear fit fine without rubbing. the front did rub on full turn. I added 3 washers on the steering stopper and it was fine..

I went with bfg mud.. sorry I dont know how to post pics..

I also found out what a pain in the ass it is to remove the hardtop..

makes me kinda regret buying a jeep; that and gas milage. 15 mpg.

I put a k and n filter and new plugs see how they work out..

vking fastback.... NO SOFT FRAME!!!

everything except upper doors fold into the top with no soft top frame!! i know some people don't like the look... but i love being able to go to a fully enclose cab to a safari top in about 1.5minutes!!

2" BB isn´t enough for 32s. disconnected there will be much tire rubbing off the road.
i still had a bit rubbing at the front with 2" BB & 2" BL with 32s.

thanks for the hardtop idea.. I kinda have buyers remorse, just a bit, but if I had to do it all over again I probably buy the jeep over a S2000 again.. Heck I got my first wave yesterday.. I kinda with I lived in mountain terrain just to put the jeep to use.. Living here I have to drive an hour and a half to go off roading..

when you say disconnect do you mean swaybar?

I am heading off road in a few days is this advised to disconnect sway bars?

yes it gives you more flex, you shouldnt really rub at all with 32's and 2" of lift, and to disconnect the swaybars without quick disconnects is a pain, so wheel it how it is, it will do fine, and then make or buy some discos

with disconnected sway bars the TJs flexing is much better.
but for that you need much more room untder the flares for the tires.

here you can see the difference:

not disco'd: http://jeep.cfasp.de/upload/431564.jpg
disco'd: http://jeep.cfasp.de/upload/431568.jpg

not disco'd: http://jeep.cfasp.de/upload/431573.jpg
disco'd: http://jeep.cfasp.de/upload/431553.jpg

the TJ on the pics has 2" lift and 30s tires. with 32s and disco'd the tires would rub very much under the flares and i think the flares could be damages.

what do you mean weather sealed, you need to get a replacement soft top and then what i said, or the viking top, which wont be weather sealed when you make it into a bikini

I've got a 2inch BB and 31's (before I installed the BL and MML) and ran disconnected with no problems, no rubbing. Don't think 32's will make a huge difference.

I disconnected the trac bars front and rear.. it was hard to put back in to align the bolts.. but I worked on cars for years.. took me about 4 hours to do due to no air tools and no shop lift.. plus taking my time. I hope I dont have issues I just ordered cheap urethane from ebay.. pretty explainatory how it goes in. I doubt it will have probablems unless the bushings deteriate.. fingeres crossed.
