I don't have the kids in long but everyday I drop them off before work.. Only drive 5 miles to drop them off and no one is in passenger seat ..I'm going from a 4 door jetta so I know it's not gonna be that simple but I'm willing to sacrifice to get back in a wrangler ..

If they're forward facing, it's no issue. My daughter is still rear facing and my wife could fit in passenger with the pumpkin seat but now we have a convertible seat and haven't tried it rear facing. I'm expecting it to be more cramped.

Its not bad. I have both my daughters car seats in the back seat when we go riding or out in town. Its a pain to buckle them in with the top on, especially from the drivers side. But very doable. And its nice the Jeep sits higher, beats bending over to put them in.

I occasionally have 2 on the back seat, its really easy to get them buckled in and everything situated. put the kids in from the front then walk around to the back and buckle them in from behind.

My kids LOVE "daddy's new jeep" I can get them to do pretty much anything for a ride.

Rear facing you can have some problems if you are tall, but front facing you will have no problems at all. I get lots of compliments through the trails in Moab when I have my 4 boys with me on the trails in the Jeep. Two of them are in booster seats.

Got 2 car seats/almost booster style in my rear seat. Used the seat belts and also the latch system. Put the latches down between the seats and anchored them to the loops that are secured to the floor. It passed my wife's inspection so it must be OK.

I have 2 in my tj for a 4 year old and 6 year old who could be in boosters but with no rear seat headrest, we use the toddler seats. I have the seats latched in but use the factory belts. Anyone use the bestop rear seat with headrests in their tj? Thinking about getting one so we can use boosters or put "big kids" in back with a headrest
