2 inch body lift or no

So on my rig i have a 4.5 inch BDS short arm lift with 1 inch spacers in the front coils to make it sit level. i was thinking last night about putting a 2 inch body lift on it. is there alot of problems with the body lift?

now remind you mine is a LJ and its a 6 speed.

Do some research and I'm sure you'll find that very few (and even fewer that actually know what they are talking about) will recommend more than a 1.25" BL on a TJ or LJ. It has little to do with how ugly they are, but yes like jpdocdave mentioned, damn they sure are.

Rokmen advises it....no firsthand experience, just what they told me when I asked.

Good choice!!! I'm not 100% as I have not installed one myself, but I believe the deal with the MML is . . . if not installed you will need to modify/trim/etc the fan shroud. But the main purpose of the MML along with the BL is to keep the angles close to what they were . . . with your set up, I'm not sure if you'll "need" one or not, but you'll probably at a minimum have to address the fan shroud if you don't.

I installed a Performance 1" body lift and a Currie 1" motor mount lift when I went with the 5.5" RE long arm kit. The skid plate of the RE kit raised the t-case and tranny up about an inch. So with the body lift and motor mount lift, everything came up together. It works very well.
