2" lift, longer sway bar links or no?

I bought a Skyjacker 2" lift, basically just poly coil spacers, extended bump stops and new shocks. Anyway, I discovered the front left sway bar link broken at the ball joint (been reading about that, apparently its from over-abusing the stock suspension). So I started researching and apparently now - since I'm going up 2" - I need longer/adjustable sway bar links. True, or not? Having a hard time justifying it, since I won't be doing any off-roading worth purchasing high-performance parts for....

...to add some additional info, I've not yet installed the lift, only probed around the wheel wells/coils to get hindsight on installation.

I bought this jeep about 2 weeks ago, and the link's been broken for awhile (before I bought it). I don't feel any extra body roll when turning left as opposed to turning right, I suppose this could be because the rear link is doing double-duty for the broken front link.

I can't seem to find adjustable/longer links cheaper than (per pair) $150 front/$70 rear. Looking in the wrong places??? Quadratec, 4x4RockShop, Ebay....

Again, since I won't be utilizing the offroad capabilities for anything besides puddle-jumping, could I get away with replacing the broken link with a stock one, or do I need the adjustable/quick-disconnect links? Thanks in advance

You can get away with stock ones ont he stock height, but sometimes you can usually find a deal on people selling their Disco's on the sale forums. Check out jeepforum.com there's usually people selling them cheaper in there. I would buy a used aftermarket one vs. the stock one, but that's just my .02 cents.

Try rough country, they have some real cheap ones. If you plan on lifting it more later JKS has adjustable rear sway links for $45

You can get away with stock ones. I've kept my stock ones on and haven't had any trouble.

Did more researching, and it seems to be a crapshoot. Some say they need to be replaced with longer ones, some say they should be, some say no they don't. My local Autozone had a replacement link in-stock for $33, so I picked it up (lifetime guarantee, can't go wrong). If I break them with the lift, then I'll go with the longer ones

you can measure the angle of your swaybar. This manual from JKS shows were your sway bar should be. If your way down they you would probably need longer links.

I installed the lift today along with the new link, seems to be fine so far. I'm sure time will tell, whether or not I'll need longer ones. Thanks for ya'lls input on this though, my thanks!

On the road the stock end links will be ok with only 2" of lift.
