Question 2-piece Hardtop for '01 TJ

Is anyone familiar with this hardtop for the TJ? I have never seen it in any TJ of this year and i'm wondering if it's for some reason... I mean it looks badass but I NEVER see it in a TJ of this year. Has anyone tried it out?

2-Piece Hardtop w/out Upper Doors Black 41509-01

^ This is what the Top looks like. Also what are these upper doors? like are they special for this kind of top?

My jeep has a 2 piece hard top, all it is is clamps holding it, makes it easy to remove, 4 for the part over the seats and 4 for the back part.

Hmm I see. Are there any leaking issues? Do you recommend it over a 1 piece?

As far as leaking, i haven't had it in the rain yet so i don't know, but i love being able to take it off in two different pieces instead of one big one, Makes it much more manageable, i highly recommended it!

Did it fit snug? or did you have to do some adjustments to it for it to fit? The pegs on the bottom of the one i got don't fall into the slot holes (they're off by like an inch and a half) I got the top for a deal but it's going to be a project to get them to fit if they ever will :/ wish me luck! lol

It fits snug, mine uses clamps, no screws or bolts, 4 clamps on each piece of the top and they are adjustable for a snug fit, i love not having to deal with bolts!

Do you have any pics of the front section mounting from inside? Just picked one up for cheap for the winter.

I have 4 of those on the main part of the hardtop, then 2 of those on the windshield, and two smaller ones that fit on the roll bar over your head

The reason that I would avoid one is there is no replacement parts like glass available so if it is vandalized or damaged you are SOL

With a factory one many out there and replacement parts available
