My opinion if you have the extra$ get the spring lift i have a different spacer lift and springs are next on my list now.

In the last week I have installed the RE bb on a friends jeep(05)and We installed the Rustys 2'' susp. lift on my jeep(97)They both went in really easy(about 4hrs).I figured my TJ being older needed new springs-now Im really glad that I did.It rides really smooth and gave me the perfect height-My buddy says his shocks are a little stiff.for less than $100 more I got all new suspension, and Rusty's was easy to deal with and my stuff was here in 4 days. They also come with the front two bar pins already installed-always a plus.-my .2..

If money isn't really an object here, I'd go with the spring swap. I've got a 2" BB and the ride is pretty stiff. If you're going to go the BB route, definately pick some quality shocks.

Based on what I am hearing, I am pretty sure I will go with the Rusty's setup. I just didn't want to spend the extra money if I didn't need to. Looks like I should. I really appreaciate the input.

i run the rustys. its great.

i had the same decision and don't regret going with rustys...but a BB isn't a bad idea if your springs aren't old...mine were new...but no big deal...when the rusty's springs sag in a few years i can always put the stock springs back in with some spacers.

old springs- spring lift
new springs- spring lift is fine but a BB isn't a bad idea

I also ended up getting slight vibes from the lift-I could of lived with it and probably only noticed because I was looking for it,but I droped my t-case 3 washers and It cleared it up..check out the below link its really helpfull. Also dont forget to pre-lube all of your shock bolts and you may need a long breaker bar.
Good luck
