Hey, I am looking into ordering a lift kit. Currently have 31s on stock suspension. I am looking for a 2 inch suspension lift. Will I need an adjustable track bar or a transfer case kit? It is my daily driver and will see some offroading at least once a month. Thank you very much for your time!

You won't need an adjustable track bar for just 2 inches of lift, it's usually required once you go to 3 or higher.

As far as the transfer case drop, you shouldn't need one, but every Jeep is different. If you do end up getting some vibes from the lift consider just putting a few washers to lower your TC instead of buying a kit.

I agree. I added a 2" lift to a TJ and had some vibration. Instead of buying a "kit" I added some thick nuts between the skid and the frame. They are strong and adjustable depending on what size you use or how many.

On my 03TJ I added the BDS 2" suspension lift (springs / shocks) and did nothing else. It did shift over maybe a 1/2" which could have been corrected cheaply, but it did not effect the handling and was only noticeable if you were looking for it.

Weekend toy for me, so I left it alone. Also, that 2" lift gave me just over 2.5" of lift, keep that in mind if you have low garage door access.

Very nice looking Jeep, I'm now sold to buy the bds lift. Only thing I'm worried about is I have tube fenders on both front and rear. I think it will look funny with 31s. So I may just wait till I can get 33s. What do you think? Thanks again!

it will shift your axles over about .25"

i'd recommend at least getting the OME bracket for the rear.

a JKS front track bar would be good out of the box, but a MC track bar would be better, just need to shave about ~.25" off

shouldnt need to drop the TC, but if you do, you could add washers to the skid or add a MML
