Those are pretty cool but again you can't drive that anywhere besides the bogs so yeah, kinda lame.

20's go on escalades and dump cars like that, not jeeps

But the truth of the matter is that when you're at 35" or below tire sizes, really anything from 18" down is fairly typical. 17" and down is especially common. Most JKs come with 32s on 17" wheels, for example.
That's pretty much on the button why. Plus tires are cheaper for 16 than 17's

That came in handy that day we were doing his full cage, lots of in and out, or should I say up and down.

Why do you say it can only be driving in bogs?

He already has, said he did good on the interstate at 70 mph. It has full width one ton axes under it. The worst thing he has going on that Jeep is, that it only gets about 5mpg due to the V-8 under the hood with enough horse power to do burn outs on those 46's.

So 16" steel rims, 33" Goodyear duratrecs and 4" suspension lift...found it all for $1500 installed. Good price or shop around?

There's a new Discount Tire in Broken Arrow (Tulsa) that has good prices. If you're ever up this way you might check them out.
