2000-2003 soft top

Quick question.
I have an 03 Wrangler, found a heck of a deal on a brand new oem 2000 Wrangler soft top, complete. Hardware and everything. Are they the same? Will it fit as it should?
Thanks in advance.

The header is different but the top itself should be identical. If you have the header for your year TJ, you can easily swap headers between your old soft top and the new soft top.

Thank you Jerry.
By header are you refering to the way it mounts to the windsheild?
I didn't get any soft top parts with mine.
I bought a bikini from Bestop with the no drill windsheild mount, but thats all I have as of right now.

The tops before 2001 were a lot nosier than the 2001 - 2002 "sailcloth" tops.
The 01-02 tops are 4 ply material. In '03 they were still sailcloth but went to 3 ply.
Also the 03 and up had darkened back and rear windows while 02 and earlier were clear.
It may be a good deal price wise but an 03 or later top would be much superior to any earlier top - IMHO

And I have clear in my 2003. I think they have been an option for quite some time...

Yes, that is what he is talking about. They changed that in 02 I believe. So if you don't have a soft top at all the one that you are looking at will not work on your year Wrangler.
