Isn't taking the top off and reinstalling it like doing it from scratch? As far as I know, the factory top just fits on.

I don't tuck anything in until the windows are zipped. I leave it as "unstretchy" as possible. Don't mix your bows up when installing the top, lol. It definitely won't fold into place.

Not necessarily. If he has to assemble all the hardware and then install the skin on the hardware it's a little bit more challenging than just sitting the top on the brackets... Brand new tops aren't shipped assembled if they aren't installed on the Jeep.

That's true. I'm a little more mechanically minded, so what is simple for me someone else might struggle with. Only one of my four kids knows how to hold a wrench, so this is something I deal with often, lol!

More details on the problem would be good.

Yeah, I am installing the hardware from scratch including the top itself. I'm not super mechanically minded but I also would like to think I'm not completely mentally challanged. I checked bestop and couldn't find anything.

I also discovered I may be missing the door surrounds

My dad is coming in town this week so I'll have him help me. I'm pretty sure we can figure it out between the two of us.

Thank you for the help everybody! I do appreciate it!
