2000 TJ questions

I am currently serving in Afghanistan in the ARMY, and my dad will be doing all the modifications to my jeep. I bought a TJ from a good friend with a 2" body lift I was wondering if I was to put some 35inch Toyo MT's on it with a 4inch RC lift if the tires would fit such as rubbing very bad if not would it be possible to run 35's and take the 2in BL off and just have the suspension lift. Im not gonna lie Ill probably just be driving it on the road except for every now and then playing around on hills(very rarely). Idk if this will help but the wheel are 15x10 mickey thompsons and I want 35x12.50 toyos. thanks any help is appreciated. also does anyone have any pics of 35's with bushwacker fender flares.

As long as the bs is small enough you shouldn't have any problems with rubbing. The problems are going to come from lifting that high, and running that big a tire, depending on the rear axle it has... Shifter linkage may be a problem, and you'll need an SYE and bigger brakes to stop those huge tires, and loads of other stuff....

Welcome to the forum If you can find time, do some reading in the lift "stickies" and you'll learn what all is involved in lifting one that high..

3-3.5" suspension lift is the most strongly recommended lift to run 33" tires on a TJ. There's a sticky thread here about lifts, if you can spend a little time reading it, you'll learn the good and bad about all the options and how best to achieve what you want. Lot's of folks do run 35's on a TJ, but there is a lot that goes into it, and a lot that you risk breaking in order to do it.
