I'm having problems with daughter jeep. It's throwing 3 codes, #2 O2 sensor, #3 injector and intermitent signal from Crank OR Cam position sensor. A little history, I had the engine rebuit last year and ever since it has ran pretty crappy, had a little hessitation and gas mileage was down. Well the other day when it got warm it starts cutting out on acceleration and it started throwing the codes (its had the O2 one for a while).
I figure what the heck and ordered both sensors and in the process of troubleshotting I think the distributor may be a little off. The the engine at TDS, the rotor points at 3 oclock but the #1 wire is at 4. That would explain the look of the cap, like it was firing early. Can the dizzy be a tooth off and still run and should I reclock the dizzy to line up with the #1 plug?
