2001 Jeep wrangler

Good morning,

I am a newbie here at the forum and I have a jeep question. I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler and the engine light came on so I had it put on a machine and it said the 02 Sensor was bad behind the cat. converter but my husband didn't see where that could be. Would it be under the skid plate?

Is the Jeep a I-4 or I-6?

I just went through with my 2000. It should be the sensor on the bottom, just to the right or the oil pan if your looking at the Front of the Jeep. If that is the right sensor, Good Luck!! It took me over 2 hours to remove it. Wouldn't budge until I took a torch to it. Hopefully yours won't be that bad.
