That is not a bad price if it is clean and drives good. I paid $8,900 for my 2000 Sahara with 68,000 miles, I6, factory hardtop and softtop, about 6 months ago.

I bought and I love it. We've already gone 280 miles and I'm already looking at soft tops. Thanks!

I am glad you like it. Getting kicked in the family jewels is not fun.

Congrats and Welcome to the Wrangler Family. Having owned bikes in the past I can honestly say that you are in for the best time you could possibly have on 4 wheels.

I was happy for you when I read that post Nick.

So, Chris, what rear axle and gear ratio does it have?

How can you tell what you have for axles and gears? I have a 2001 Sahara 4.0 auto on the stock 30's.

quick way to see if you have a 44 or 35 is look for a metal or plastic drain plug in the rear.. plastic = 35 (ironically, lol) and metal is the 44

gears i can't help you with. I emailed jeep with my vin and they confirmed that it had a 44 with 3.73
