2001 TJ track bar space btw mount and bushing

What do you think? I'm not having any DW issues but this doesn't seem right. The bar is fairly new.

it's probably that crappy tie-rod smashing track bar setup that's causing the problems

take a look through here: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/rc-1...ml#post3649860

start with a dry steering test and see what you find...

Looks like a rose joint, which is great as it should handle that type of angle just fine. You can however loosen the adjustment nut on the track bar and just twist it a tiny bit. Should make a small enough difference in the length.

Thanks! Tried a DST the other day w my phone focused on the bushing, and didn't notice any play. I should mention the tie rod ends were smoked so i recently replaced them when the bar went In. Gotta get someone to help so I can look. Closer. I don't have the DW issues so that's good, but that is the reason I was so concerned about the space.
Any other thoughts about the rose joint holding up. interesting what you say about the angle. seems easy to adjust next time it's up on the lift? Many recent updated suspension and 4x4 mods updated, if you need specs.
