2002 Jeep Wrangler

Hey guys. I am the new owner of a 2002 Jeep Wrangler. I have never driven one before this one and I fell in love with it. I don't know a whole lot about jeeps. The guy I bought it from said that it was a Sahara. I am not sure that it is because I don't see Sahara anywhere on it. It has a decal on each side over the jeep logo that says Mojave Edition. Its in a circle decal with the jeep emblem in it. I did a little research and everything that I found on the Mojave Edition was newer. So I guess I am asking how can I tell for sure what it is, be it a Sport, a X, a Sahara, or a Special Edition of some kind. I know that decals can be added and are not always the original. it is a 4.0 strait 6 automatic.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
David B

I forgot the obvious, if the 6th digit in the VIN is a 5, its a Sahara.

2001 - 2006
2= SE
3= X
4= Sport
5= Sahara
6= Rubicon
