2002 tj suspension lift??!!??

Looking to get a suspension lift for my 2002 tj SE. Found a few that we're just coils and shocks. Could I get away with that If I'm not going real high (2.5-3.25inch).. Or do I need all the other parts likes struts and etc... Help please I'm new to the jeep world.. Thanks

I was in the same boat and I used this link: lift reviews sticky to get some good info. BDS makes a good 2" lift at this link:BDS which is just shocks and springs you might consider for a cheap budget lift.
