2003 Tj Rubi Mis Fire, Fuel Pump Problems

Pay little attention to the tittle. so here is whats going on. i have a p0303, p1282, and p0455. the 303 is the mis on #3 cyl and 1282 is open or short in the fuel pump. so far i have changed the fwd upstream o2 sensor, and swapped coil packs with a friends jeep to see in the problem follows. no change. all injector pulses sound normal through the auto steth. 3 sounds a little feint but its could be the positioning of the steth due to the tb and tb cables being right over it. check resistance and continuity on the coil rail and all checked good. plugs are brand new, so thats out. as far as i can tell it only misses at idle. power is good for having 35's and 4.10's. now the fuel pump had a bald wire just above the fuel tank where the wire loom came loose and chaffed between the fuel tank and track bar bracket. rerouted the wires and repaired the chaff. today when leaving i'm thinking the two problems united as i went to start the jeep it started missing on what seemed like all cyl. and would not recover when given gas. shut it off and restarted and ran ok. not good but ok. jeep is now hard to start, has a hic up when you go to accelerate, and is idling around 500 revs. what would you suggest. i've searched this and many other jeep websites and nothing has been of any use or anything that i have not already done. any advice would help.
