2003 TJ turn signal intermittent issue

Would sincerely appreciate some feedback on this.

Left rear turn signal sometimes goes out, i.e. quick double-flash behavior. Can happen anytime, without warning... no discernible pattern to when it's working or not.

Replaced the bulb, twice, clearly not the issue. Since the front lamp works and the right side front-back never have problems, I think that eliminates issues with relay or switch, right? No corrosion in housing etc, actually seems very clean. Sometimes when it's double-flashing, slamming the driver's door fixes it.

So I figure, all that remains is loose wire somewhere?

Thanks for the help.
