In my 2004 Rubicon i have a rearview mirrow with two led green lights on both sides that come on when i open the doors or flick on the overhead lights, is there a way to change them to blue?
So pretty much when they go out if they somehow do then I gotta buy a new one of I want it fixed? The green is cramping my blue colored style lolPatrick H said:The map lights in the factory mirror? I doubt it.
Yep. I had my doubts when I first saw the LEDs on my Dads mirror when he installed it, but the light color is nice. I put some "white" LEDs on either side of my windsheild mounted CB radio for "map lights". As usual, there were too blueish for my taste. 3 layers of amber parking light lense repair tape on them, and it's not real far off from the factory dome light color-wise.If you look closer, there are also two orange LED's and mixed with the green, they product the white light you see on the dash.
Unless yours is dramatically different from mine, you only see the green and orange when you look directly up under the mirror. The light that hits the dash is white.Well the thing is I have cool white dome lights and blue floor lights. The green/orange just isn't fitting in much. But since it is impractical to miss with I won't lol.
Maybe you could get some window curtains with all those colors so they blend..EricsRubi said:Well the thing is I have cool white dome lights and blue floor lights. The green/orange just isn't fitting in much. But since it is impractical to miss with I won't lol.
