2004 with a 4 banger I NEED MORE POWER!

Guys,

I have been looking to get a little more power out of my 4cyl. I have looked all over for aftermarket parts for it. Anyone out there have a link or tips that will help me get more power? I would like to get an intake and throttle body spacer.

PSSSSTT Dont say engine conversion cant afford that at the moment.

Thanks!

What tires, gears etc. do you have because all that has huge impact on your power. If you have large tires and stock gears the only way to get power is to regear or get smaller tires. Intakes don't really work.

Stock 4 bangers come with 4:10 gears, upgrading the gears will help some but nothing will give it the power of a 6. I have a 4 banger and will not go larger than 31 x 15 and even with that rarely use 5th gear.

Definitely look at the tag on the drivers side of the back of your rear diff cover to be sure you have 4.10's. A regear is about the only thing guaranteed to get you more power but we need to know what size tires you're running and if you're planning to upgrade to larger tires anytime soon.

That's highly unnecessary. A regear is so much cheaper and will give you power. Not to insult you but do you understand how a regear will significantly improve power transfer from your engine (which is a strong engine) to your wheels?
And do you know what's required for an engine swap? It's not just a pull out the old, bolt on the new.
