2005 Lifter(?) tick

Hey Jeepers!!!

From a cold engine, I get a tick (lifter?) untill the temp is just about normal.
2005 Ruibcon
61,000 miles
Oil pressure is normal
Oil level good
I changed the oil, used a BOSCH filter, GTX high milage, Lucas oil additive, no change.

Got any ideas?

anyone know it this might be covered by the Jeep 7/70?

Try some marvel mystery oil next time you change the oil. If it is a stuck lifter the mystery oil should un stick it.

engine oil flush works well, just buy the junk at the parts store, put it in and run it for 5 mins, then change oil. let oil drip for as long as you can. lucas also works well, but for that new of a jeep i don't think you should have to do anything else

maybe an exhaust leak... they will make noise that sounds like ticking, then when the motor gets hot the gasket expands and quits leaking. just a suggestion!
