2005 wrangler soft top

I hope someone can help me. I have a 2005 wrangler rubicon with a hard top. i want to get a soft top. I found a person locally that is selling the soft top and all the hardware. i have no idea how many pieces i need for a complete soft top frame. How many pieces/sections should I expect to get to install a soft top with no existing hardware ?
thanks u

not trying ti hi-jack, but i've got a soft top on my 2005 Unlimited, and am going to pull it off and drive 2 hours to buy/install a hard top - besides unsnapping the 2 latches at the front, and taking the bow's off, what else needs to be removed?

What can stay on there?

What tools should i make sure to take?

Take the bows, the soft top obviously, the windshield channel(if it's not already attached to the soft top), the door surrounds, and the two brackets tailgate bar clips. The roll bar brackets shouldn't affect whether the hard top fits on there or not.

You should take a set of torx bits because the stock hard tops came with bolts and rectangular "nuts" that help to fasten down the hard top to the tub. I don't know how many bolts it would be on an LJ but on a TJ it was six. When I swapped my hard top for a soft top, all I really needed was the torx bits and a driver.
