I have a 2005 Wrangler Unlimited and am looking to put lift on it but am not sure how big i should go in terms of suspension and tire size... please post advice
Everyone told me when I was putting a two inch lift on my jeep that as soon as I got it on I was going to want it bigger. They were right! But like one post said it all comes down to money. Tight budgeted, go with a four incher, got a little extra go ahead and get the six inch long arm. The six inch long arm rides a little better I hear. Good luck with your build!
I did a 2" spring lift with 32s on my 06 LJ, and I regret not going a little taller. If I could do it again, I would spend just a couple hundred more and get the Full Traction 3" economy kit and JKS 1.25 BL/MML and run 33s. The LJ just needs at least 33s IMO, and 35s are better.
Soon I'll be putting on a BL, front spacers, and flat fenders and when I need tires I'll up to 33s.
save ur money and go long arm in the future......if u cant stand it go bb which is dirt cheap and then go long arm 4".......u wont need more......if you r new you should just run that long wheel base bitch and show up the modified short wheelbased jeeps
